I guess you could say I've been on a little bit of a blush and bronzer kick lately. I've been searching for some new products to add color to my everyday look. I recently dyed my hair back to black and I need a little glow to boost my complexion.

So as I perused Sephora in my local JC Penney's last night I came across the new Nars' blush in Unlawful. It wasn't a color I would have gone out to specifically purchase but in person, wow it is stunning!

At a quick glance it looks like Orgasm or Super Orgasm but when you take a closer look and swatch this bad girl, it's a beautiful iridescent rose gold with silver glitter. It is truly a multidimensional shade and I couldn't think of any blushes like it in my collection. Pictures will not do this justice. It's really a product that needs to be seen in person.

Fall has come ladies and gents. This brand new palette from Smashbox has you covered all season with it's rich cherry hues and neutrals. Each shade is buttery smooth and the pigments are perfect. I love a good reddish eyeshadow and this palette just needed a place in my collection. I can see myself using this daily. With it's mix of matte and shimmer you have all the textures you will ever need plus three nice highlighting shades and two deep smokes. Retailing at $39 it's affordable and gorgeous.

This gem is the perfect transitional palette from Summer to Fall. You have some copper with rose gold tones and then you have a black to smoke it up plus a gorgeous glimmering silver blue. The combination is eccentric and stunning. These are not colors I would think to put together in one palette but they all work so beautifully together. If you have blue eyes, you need this in your life! Every shadow is super pigmented and this makes me so happy since Mac's limited edition collections have been iffy in the palette department recently. Well this one lives up to the Mac name! The only thing I can say works against this is you will need a separate highlight shade because this palette does not have one included. Other than that, great job Mac!

This post is the third palette from Stila's new collection and probably the last one I will be purchasing and reviewing. The forth palette includes a lot of purple and I'm pretty picky about purples but you can find that one here, it's called Body.

This beauty is called Spirit and it is beyond lovely. It reminds of a mix of the Soul & Mind palettes mixed together in a way but then again not. Neutrals are there but also a pop of color for instance, a burgundy. It includes a mixture of shimmer and matte textures. I would say this is the creamiest out of the three palettes I purchased but I'm not sure if it's because it was out in my mailbox all day in the heat or if it's the textures themselves.

Like all the other palettes in this glamorous collection, it is encased in a golden (rose gold for this one) mirrored compact complete with a full mirror.

White at IMATS in NY this year we got the pleasure to meet the makeup artist from Dancing with the Stars. She has her own line of illuminators and lip glosses. The powder and liquid cream highlighters are amazing. The colors are gorgeous and feel like you are putting jewelry on your skin. They shimmer and glow with such elegance.


I ended up buying the rose gold powder and then the light gold liquid cream. It was a hard decision but after she dusted the rose gold over my chest and cheeks I was hooked. It complemented my skin tone and now copper hair so well. It creates a gorgeous healthy flush. They blend into perfection. I use my large It Cosmetics powder brush for the powder and it works so well.

Both forms, liquid and powder can be used all over. You can mix it with foundation, put in on before foundation, after foundation, on your colorbone for demension, etc. The options are endless. She said you could even use them for eyeshadow. I feel that these will be some of my favorite summer go to's this year and also for the colder months to add color.

Her products have a vanilla scent which is subtle so no worries about it clashing with your perfume.
