Mac's Cinderella Collection - February Release!

It's happened, Mac as announced the release dates for their upcoming Cinderella collection! I cannot wait and the fact that it is being released online the day before my birthday makes it even more special! What can I say, it's the Disney princess and makeup addict in me.

So far I definitely need the eyeshadow palette and the highlighter. I thought the packaging would be a little more than it is but the color is still perfect.

Full on Monet - Maybelline Color Molten Shadow in Taupe Craze

I went to CVS on Sunday with some Extra Bucks in hand. I perused the makeup isle and came across this really pretty duo of shadows. I was thinking well it's basically free lets try it out.

Now maybe it's me and I just don't understand the product but there is no pigmentation. I swatched it and it took pressing and pushing it get anything and that anything was basically nothing. I was disappointed and surprised. The formula itself is like a cream but then not. It's silky and weightless which would be nice if it had any color! This will be a return. :(

Kardashian Beauty Ombre Blush - Sunlit

It's still a little too early for Spring makeup in my eyes. Maybe because of the mounds of snow still on the ground in New Jersey. But even though it is still winter I couldn't help but share this find with you guys!

As they start releasing the brighter and lighters colors I'm drawn to revisit my love affair with anything tangerine, orange, or peach colored. I find the colors uplifting and happy, fresh and new. Who doesn't love a fresh look after the greys of winter? Think of this blush as the sunrise that awakens your skin this season.

Kardasian Beauty has a collection of 6 ombre blushes that are bright and cheerful, perfect for the Spring season. I instantly fell in love with the shade Sunlit - an iridescent tangerine color. It's the perfect highlight to my daytime looks. The price point also makes it appealing at $10.

Christian Louboutin Beaute Spring Collection Nail Coffret

Spring is in the air, open your window to new colors! Christian Louboutin is releasing a three nail polish set in a box inspired by Jackson Pollock's drip/splatter style paintings. The set of brights retails for $90. It includes a medium blue, light yellow, and a cream color.

If you are a nail polish or Louboutin enthusiast this would make a great addition to your collection. Although I don't know how many will be splurging on the $90 set. What are your thoughts? I personally only buy expensive polishes in colors I would wear consistently. Otherwise I feel like it's a waste of money.

Covergirl Stunning Smokeys Eyeshadow Quad

I love a seductive smokey eye and when you can purchase fabulous shadows to create the look from the drugstore, wooo! This quad is perfect for traveling because of it's smaller size but also because it has every shade you would require for the perfect day to night "come hither" look. Highlight to liner it's covered with this beauty. The pigmentation and buttery softness of the shadows actually surprised me when I swatched them. Perfection!

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel

When people say this cream bronzer is natural looking they are not kidding. Chanel really lives up to their high class name with this formula. It is unscented, (yay for all us sensitive skin ladies and gents!) creamy, light, and the perfect shade of tan for my NC15/NW20 skin tone.

This gorgeous jar is huge! This will last me forever because you only need a small amount to blend it to perfection. It's a semi matte finish with a small amount of shimmer in it. When I blended it out on my skin I didn't notice the shimmer at all. I think it just adds a glowier (Not a word, but I'm making it one for this post. lol) effect.

It is a luxury product and a definite splurge but I think it's worth it because the size is generous. The only flaw I see is that they only make one shade which makes it difficult for different complexions.
