The Epitome of a Golden Glow - Mac Trace Gold Blush

First of all, how did I not know about this blush until now!? It is perfect in every way from the almost creamy texture to the perfectly glowy finish! I can't get enough. The iridescence in this blush brightens and illuminates. You can really layer it on for full on glow or gently sweep it on the apples of your cheeks for a flush of sun.

Too Faced Natural Matte Palette

Too Faced has created the perfect everyday palette full of mattes! It is actually the second matte palette in their line of cosmetics. The first being smoky, this one is all neutrals. From ivory to a mauve plum this palette is perfection. The pigmentation is what you would expect from the brand, creamy and not at all powdery.

Many of these shades are probably ones you have in your collection but if you are a matte fan or just a Too Faced fan, than you will want to check this out. It's the perfect travel friendly companion in its metal magnetic closure case. And who could resist names like Sexpresso?

Younique Moonstruck Pressed Mineral Blush - Sophisticated

As you have have probably heard either here or online elsewhere, Younique has released their blushes in pressed forms. The colors are bright and definitely statement making!

So far I have the color Sophisticated which is a reddish coral shade with a neon undertone. The formula is matte and has definite staying power. It almost has a "stain" quality which is great for longtime wear but it also washes off at the end of the day with the rest of your makeup. A little goes a long way with this product so it will last forever!

Mac's Cinderella Stroke of Midnight Eyeshadow Palette

I was super excited when Mac announced they would be doing a collaboration with Disney's new Cinderella movie this month. I always loved Cinderella and anything Disney so I definitely needed at least one piece of the collection. I chose the eye gloss and the eyeshadow palette. Here is the palette, in all it's magical glory.

This collection of shadows is great for everyday. I love the combination of matte and shimmer textures and the overall cool vibe I get. All but one shade is part of Mac's permanent line so if you did miss out on this limited edition sold out palette you still have luck to add the colors to your collection! The shades are as follows, Vapour, Phloof!, Omega, Quarry, Satin Taupe, and Stroke of Midnight.

The pigmentation was great and staying power was just as good as Mac's permanent products. They didn't feel stiff nor too powdery.

Happy March! Hopefully Spring is on its way soon. I know I am looking forward to some Spring warmth and sunshine.

Day after day I come across so many new and exciting cosmetic lines and brands which just add to my already long list of wish list items. I wanted to share with you what I've had my eyes on this week, beauty and non beauty related... What have you been lusting after lately?

Colourpop Cheeks - Their eyeshadow formula is a unique airy cream-like texture with superb pigmentation. Colourpop's new blush collection looks just as fabulous just because of the shade range alone! I have my eyes on Aphrodisiac, Trickery, and Swift. Find them here!

Dose of Colors Highlighter in Pearl Dust - This kind of surprised me. I first noticed it while perusing Instagram and was blown away by how gorgeously glowy it looked on the cheek bones. It was a total out loud - wow! I never thought to try a pink highlighter. I always thought it would be kind of Barbie but not in a good way. But this one totally calls to me. Find it here!

Mac Eyes on Mac Palettes - These palettes of 9 shadows are really great for travel and I love the color combinations. They include permanent and new colors which makes them even more intriguing. I have to admit I did order two of them already, the burgundy and the navy. Oops. Find them here!

Custom Letter Neon Sign (Etsy) - I have been obsessed with lights lately. Whether it be the white Christmas lights I left up in my living room for a little warmth and sparkle or the new ampersand marquee light i purchased at Homegoods. Etsy is a great place to find anything. I love the combination of vintage and homemade items available at your fingertips. This neon letter is definitely on my list. Here.
