Purple was never one of my favorite colors but makeup wise lately it has been growing on me big time. With all these deep eggplants and greyed out lavenders it's hard not to fall for the rich hue. Spring was all about lilacs and pastel shades and Fall will be covered in lush, vibrant plums. I tried to include a variety of shades here. Kat Von D's Ayesha is absolutely gorgeous! The perfect grey under toned violet. I also posted Anastasia's Potion - a deep blackened eggplant. Potion is a vampy statement shade and with a capital v. Younique's Savvy lip stain is a stain more than a liquid lipstick per say but it holds its own on the list and looks gorgeous with their Pompous lip liner. This is just the beginning of my purple liquid lipstick collection as they keep releasing new and amazing shades every day! When I purchase more I will update this post! Any shades you recommend me to check out?

Today's makeup of the day is done using Mac's Kelly Osbourne collection. I ordered the eyeshadow palette, the brow duo (for use as eyeshadow), Kelly's Mineralize Skinfinish Duo along with Sharon's Mineralize Skinfinish Duo.

The products are nice and great for spring. The lipsticks sold out within the first couple hours so I didn't get my hands on any of them. I am not completely sure if I will keep the eye palette because I feel like the texture is pretty stiff. It was something different for me because I don't usually like purples. Kelly has been looking great since her lavender hair makeover and I just had to take part. I think that's the main thing that sold me. In the fall I am thinking of doing a grey silver hair color so I thought this would complement that look. We'll see...

This season deep seductive lips are in. I love a sexy dark lip. Since fall is just starting and winter comes on so fast I decided to do a post on a group of great fall and winter lip colors from the drugstore and high end brands. I have included some limited edition shades but sometimes you can find them on Ebay or All Cosmetics Wholesale.

Brown, burgundy, taupe, purple, oxblood... all those with a dark twist is what we are talking about ladies.

What I am about to introduce is a fantastic fall palette from Kat Von D called Ladybird. It is stunning. The pigmentation is great (I swatched on my arm with no primer). If you are on the market for something other than nudes and a seriously rich color palette then I would most definitely check this out. It retails at $36 at Sephora.

Miss Kat hit it out of the park this time. I have three of her other palettes which all have great pigmentation and colors. I do think this is my favorite besides the Saint palette which is also a great neutral set and cheaper than Urban Decays Naked palettes.
