Here is my (better late than never) 2016 favorites! This collection of products are things I enjoyed throughout the year. They may have been new releases or they may have been oldies but I loved them up! Comment below and tell me what you fell in love with this past year! I would love to hear! Illamasqua is known for their highly creative cosmetics. They offer a wide range of eccentric colors and formulas for the aspiring and experienced makeup artists alike. I have a few of their products and not one of them has disappointed me in the least. Today I wanted to talk about their Glamore Lipstick in the shade Buff, described as a fudgy brown on their website.



First, it is the perfect paring for Mac's Stone lip liner. It's like they were made for each other. The combination of brown and grey is perfection. The color doesn't wash me out but adds a certain depth to my look. Think grunge crossed with 1920's flapper.

Second, the texture is creamy and moisturizing. I didn't see the need to apply a balm before hand. But it also wasn't too creamy where it bleed all over the place. It is a satin finish, not too shiny but also not matte either.

Lastly, the shade will work for a lot of skin tones in my opinion. My description of the shade would be a grey tinged rosy brown. It changes with the lip liner you use and with your own personal lip tone. You can warm it up with a spice colored lip liner like Perfect Spice by Too Faced or cool it down with either Coloured Pencil in Sebastian from OCC or Stone Lip Liner by Mac. It's very versatile and just plain gorgeous!

I am so in love with this palette it's rediculous! The first Sigma palette I've ever bought and I can definitely say it won't be my last. With my eyes on it for months, I finally caved.

If you are a fellow blue eyed beauty, this palette will be gold to you! The warm taupes, browns, and pinks are the perfect colors to bring out your eyes. This palette has the perfect combination of lights, medium, and darks. There are blending shades and highlighting shades. It really is perfect. At $39 you really can't go wrong.

I guess you could say I've been on a little bit of a blush and bronzer kick lately. I've been searching for some new products to add color to my everyday look. I recently dyed my hair back to black and I need a little glow to boost my complexion.

So as I perused Sephora in my local JC Penney's last night I came across the new Nars' blush in Unlawful. It wasn't a color I would have gone out to specifically purchase but in person, wow it is stunning!

At a quick glance it looks like Orgasm or Super Orgasm but when you take a closer look and swatch this bad girl, it's a beautiful iridescent rose gold with silver glitter. It is truly a multidimensional shade and I couldn't think of any blushes like it in my collection. Pictures will not do this justice. It's really a product that needs to be seen in person.

Happy Autumn! This entry is a list of some of my favorite brown colored lipsticks and liners. I figured since today is the first day of Fall and 90's lips are definitely on trend it would give you some options to check out for the season. Enjoy!
