So excited about this baby! It's a cool toned palette of six new Urban Decay shadows. There are five matte and one demi-matte shade for a highlight.

I love the colors of this palette. If you tend to gravitate towards taupes, this will speak your language. I do wish the highlight shade was a tad lighter like in the original Naked Basics (Venus) but other than that the colors are perfect.

If packing light is something you look for when packing up your makeup bag than this is a great option for you. It's very travel friendly. You will have everything you need from highlight (even for your cheeks!) to your eyeliner in one perfectly sized package.

After reading what seemed like hundreds of reviews on Instagram I found myself intrigued by the benefits of a coffee scrub. Supposedly the scrubs help eczema, stretch marks, cellulite, dry skin, and psoriasis. I knew I had to test it out. Being affordable doesn't hurt either ($17.95 and free shipping for the coconut one) and if it will help improve my skin then I am all for it.

Frank is an all natural scrub made of fresh coffee grounds, sea salt and depending on the version you choose, coconut oil and almond oil. I chose the coconut grape seed version because I love coconut. The scent of this one is heavenly. It is a mix of coffee and coconut with a hint of salt that smells to me like a delectable morning dessert. I could not stop smelling myself after I showered. lol














The website says "lets get dirty" and they aren't kidding. It will cover your shower in coffee grinds and the water will turn a brownish color. Don't be alarmed, as it washes down the drain and leaves behind the smoothest skin you will ever feel. I was alarmed at how my skin felt and after just one use too! It felt super moisturized and comfortable with a "glow" I could not ignore.

Right now I can't say if it has helped improve my skin tone or anything since I have only used it once but I plan to continue using this product. An update will be posted in a month or so to let you know how it's going. For now, I highly recommend this scrub and you can find it here.

Looking for a new eyeliner? You might want to try Benefit's They're Real liner. It's the first of its kind, a gel liner in a pen like applicator.

First twist, swipe, then wink... bingo you have a come hither winged eye! I found the liner to be a little strange to work with at first but it came out super black and creamy and it did not budge for anything. You want a no transfer liner, this is it. I really liked the rubber tip that can be use to smudge as well as drag a sharp line.

You have to be careful with this liner because it is a b*tch to try and remove any mistakes afterwords. I think that is why they now sell the They're Real Remover, because the liner and the mascara are waterproof. Although you can get them off with an oil based remover it can be difficult on occasion.

I still love my Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner but with some practice this could be a nice product to have on hand when I want the gel liner look with a much more convenient way to apply it.

 

Lately I've been obsessed with Starbucks' green tea soy latte (I order it hot & unsweetened). It is a cup of soothing deliciousness. Sweet even though I order it unsweetened, Starbucks says their macha powder comes sweetened. I'm not sure with what exactly. It's not overpowering but just a hint of sweet that makes the drink a nice treat but also relaxing. I'm not sure exactly how healthy it is because of the sweetness (macha - the green tea it is made from is super healthy though!) but I am in love and you should definitely try it if you are tea fan.

Fall has come ladies and gents. This brand new palette from Smashbox has you covered all season with it's rich cherry hues and neutrals. Each shade is buttery smooth and the pigments are perfect. I love a good reddish eyeshadow and this palette just needed a place in my collection. I can see myself using this daily. With it's mix of matte and shimmer you have all the textures you will ever need plus three nice highlighting shades and two deep smokes. Retailing at $39 it's affordable and gorgeous.

This gem is the perfect transitional palette from Summer to Fall. You have some copper with rose gold tones and then you have a black to smoke it up plus a gorgeous glimmering silver blue. The combination is eccentric and stunning. These are not colors I would think to put together in one palette but they all work so beautifully together. If you have blue eyes, you need this in your life! Every shadow is super pigmented and this makes me so happy since Mac's limited edition collections have been iffy in the palette department recently. Well this one lives up to the Mac name! The only thing I can say works against this is you will need a separate highlight shade because this palette does not have one included. Other than that, great job Mac!
